Terms & Conditions

By Uncut Pty Ltd (ABN 49 683 797 239), trading as Uncut AI

Last updated: 29 October 2026

These terms cover tickets to Uncut AI workshops. "We" and "us" means By Uncut Pty Ltd. When you buy a ticket you accept these terms. If you buy tickets for other people, you accept them on their behalf and you're responsible for passing them on.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. The workshop

A one-day, hands-on AI workshop. The date, time and venue for your workshop are shown on the booking page and in your confirmation email. Seats are capped at 20 per workshop.

Your ticket includes:

  • a 1:1 strategy call before the day (on Google Meet) to understand where you're at with AI and map your build. You book it after payment, and it must take place at least 48 hours before your workshop
  • help setting up your accounts before the day
  • the full-day workshop
  • catered food, coffee and drinks, and a workbook
  • 3 months of support after the day (see section 5)

You'll need to bring your own laptop and charger, and pay for any AI tools or subscriptions you choose to use.

2. Price and payment

Ticket prices are shown at checkout and include a clear GST amount. Where a group rate is offered (for example, a lower price per ticket when you buy 3 or more in one order), it applies to every ticket in that order.

You pay in full by card at checkout through Stripe. Your seat is only confirmed once payment goes through. You'll receive a tax invoice by email.

3. Changing or cancelling your booking

Send someone else. You can transfer your ticket to another person at any time up to the day before the workshop, at no cost. Just email us their name, email, mobile and dietary requirements.

Cancelling. If you cancel by email at least 7 days before your workshop date, we'll refund you in full. After that, tickets are non-refundable, because your seat is held and catering is ordered for you. You can still transfer your ticket as above.

Not turning up. If you don't attend, or leave early, you're not entitled to a refund, but your 3 months of support still apply.

If we move or cancel the workshop. If we have to change the date or cancel, you can choose a seat at the new date or a full refund. We're not responsible for other costs you've incurred, such as travel or time off work.

Refunds are paid to the card you used, normally within 10 business days.

4. The $10k guarantee

The promise. If what you build with us doesn't make or save your business at least $10,000 within 12 months of the workshop, we'll refund your ticket in full. We'll also keep working with you free of charge for up to 90 days to help you get there, if you'd like us to.

To be eligible, you need to:

  • complete your pre-event strategy call (at least 48 hours before the workshop) and the account setup before the day
  • attend the full workshop and take part in the build
  • put your build to use in your business
  • join all 3 monthly group calls during your 3 months of support
  • make your claim by email within 30 days after the 12-month period ends

How we measure it. "Make or save" means the combined total of:

  • new revenue your business earned because of the build
  • costs your business no longer pays because of the build
  • time saved by you or your team because of the build, valued at $50 per hour (so about 200 hours saved equals $10,000)

When you claim, send us a short summary of how you've used the build, with reasonable records to back it up (for example, time logs, invoices or before-and-after figures). We'll assess every claim fairly and reasonably and reply within 14 days.

What it doesn't cover. Results affected by things outside our control, such as outages, price changes or account problems with third-party tools, or by not completing the steps above.

The guarantee is one refund per ticket. It's in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Support after the workshop

For 3 months from the day after the workshop, you get:

  • a monthly group call on Google Meet, at times we set and share in advance. Missed calls aren't rescheduled, but recordings may be shared.
  • email support at hello@byuncut.com.au. We aim to reply within 2 business days.

Support covers questions about what we taught, help getting unstuck on your build (or a similar next one), and pointing you to the right tool for a job. It doesn't cover us building, hosting or maintaining tools for you, custom development, fixing third-party services, or legal, financial, tax or security advice. Done-for-you work is available separately.

The free support period described in section 4 is separate and only applies to an eligible guarantee claim.

6. AI tools and your data

You'll use AI tools and other services from third parties (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Microsoft) under your own accounts and on their terms. We don't control those services.

You're responsible for:

  • what you put into AI tools, including customer, staff, financial or confidential information
  • your own privacy and legal obligations to your customers and staff
  • keeping your accounts, passwords and API keys secure
  • the access you give AI tools to act on your behalf
  • checking AI output before you rely on it, especially anything sent to customers or involving money

Please use sample or non-sensitive data at the workshop where you can. It's a shared room and others may see your screen.

7. What you build, and our materials

Your build is yours. You own it and you decide when it's ready to use. Anything we help you build, and any prompts, templates or code we give you, is provided as is. We don't promise it will be error-free, secure or suitable for every purpose.

Our materials stay ours. The workshop content, workbook, recordings and templates belong to us. You can use them in your own business. You can't resell or share them outside your business, or use them to run your own training.

8. General information only

What we teach is general information about using AI in business. It isn't legal, financial, tax or professional advice, and it doesn't take your circumstances into account.

9. Photos and video

We'll have someone taking photos and video on the day. By attending, you agree that we can use footage that includes you, and what you build, in our marketing (website, social media and ads) without payment. If you'd rather not appear, tell us when you arrive or email us beforehand, and we'll keep you out of it.

10. Confidentiality and conduct

Keep what you learn about other attendees' businesses to yourself. We'll do the same with yours (except as covered in section 9). We can't control other attendees and aren't responsible for what they do.

We may ask anyone who is disruptive or disrespectful to leave, without a refund. You're responsible for your own laptop and belongings.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:

  • if we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again
  • our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket
  • we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, data or business
  • we're not liable for loss or harm caused by your use of AI tools or third-party services, the data you put into them, or anything you build with them

12. Privacy

We handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

13. General

We may update these terms. The version in place when you bought your ticket applies to your booking. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. If any part can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
