Last updated: 29 October 2026
We're By Uncut Pty Ltd, a Sydney business. This policy sets out what personal information we collect when you visit our website, register for an Uncut AI workshop, book a call with us or attend an event, and what we do with it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Information we collect
When you register. Your name, email, mobile number, business name (or that you don't have one yet), what your business does, your experience with AI, the problem you'd like AI to solve, and your dietary requirements.
When you register other people. If you buy tickets for others, you'll give us their name, email, mobile number, dietary requirements and the other registration details. Please only do this if they've agreed to you sharing their details with us.
Dietary and allergy information. Some dietary requirements, such as allergies or medical needs, count as sensitive information under the Privacy Act. We collect it only to cater the event safely, with your consent, and share it only with our caterer.
Payments. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, contact details, what you bought and how much you paid. We never see or store your full card number.
Calls and support. Your pre-event strategy call and the monthly group calls run on Google Meet, and we record them (including any transcript Google Meet creates) so we can tailor your build and support. Tell us at the start of a call if you'd rather it isn't recorded. We also keep the emails you send us for support.
At the workshop. What we see of your business while helping you build. We'll also have someone taking photos and video on the day, which may include you. We may use this footage in our marketing. If you'd rather not appear, tell us when you arrive (or email us beforehand) and we'll keep you out of it.
Website use. Standard information like your device, browser, the pages you visit and how you found us, collected through our website host's visitor analytics.
City interest and waitlist. If you join the waitlist or ask to hear about the workshop in another city, your name, email and city.
2. How we use it
We use your information to:
- process your registration and payment, and confirm your seat
- prepare for your pre-event call and tailor your build
- run the workshop, including catering
- provide the 3 months of support and honour the money-back guarantee
- contact you about your registration by email, phone or SMS
- tell you about future Uncut AI workshops and services (you can opt out at any time)
- improve our website, events and marketing, including using photos and video from the workshop
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the business, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Stripe, for payments
- Lovable and Supabase, which host our website and registration database
- Google Workspace, for email, calendar, call bookings, and Google Meet calls and recordings
- Our event caterer, who receives names and dietary requirements only
- Our photographer or videographer, who films on the day
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
4. Your data in AI tools
This policy covers information we collect. At and after the workshop you'll use AI tools and other services through your own accounts. What you put into those tools, including information about your customers or staff, is covered by those providers' own terms and privacy policies, and you're responsible for it.
5. Keeping it secure
We store your information in access-controlled systems and limit who can see it. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee it. If a data breach involving your information is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the law requires.
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, financial records for at least five years). After that, we delete or de-identify it.
6. Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Email us using the details below. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in our emails, by replying STOP to an SMS, or by contacting us.
